Lacross Cookie Company  was started for a number of reasons, but for the purpose of this article I will share the passion behind the business.  I did and still do not only love the flavor of my cookies, being partial to the Biscotti’s, but I also love to bake them.  As a child I can remember baking these delightful treats with my Mother.  She would make them for family and guests who came to our home.  Many of her friends would praise her baking so she would gift them cookies on special occasions, and I was there to help bake.  When I grew up and moved from my parent’s home my Mother gave me the treasured recipe. (I still have the original recipe card written in my Mother's handwriting.)
